Aidlab has an internal, flash memory storage. Depending on its version (you can view the available variants here), it can store up to more than 24 hours of data.
So, if it is not within range of an iOS or Android device, data is temporarily stored on the Aidlab and uploaded later, when your smartphone is back in range. That means you can go for a run or to the gym without carrying your smartphone - just switch your Aidlab on and it’ll start recording and saving the data automatically.
Aidlab will continue to log until the memory capacity is full. When this happens, Aidlab will turn off automatically until you start the synchronization process.
Capacity | Approximate recording time without smartphone1 |
---|---|
2 MB | 20 minutes |
8 MB | 2.5 hours |
64 MB | 24 hours |
1 This applies to our official iOS/Android app users. If you're using your own app created with our SDK, the time varies depending on how many signals you decide to save.
