Performing ECG analysis

You can perform ECG test from the Aidlab iOS app to get insight of your heart health and behavior.

Starting ECG test

1. Login to your Aidlab account and press + in the top-right corner.

2. Select Heart Examination and pair with Aidlab.

3. Sit comfortably and press Start Examination whenever you are ready.

4. Wait 5 minutes till your trail is over.

5. Read the results. You can share them with your doctor by pressing action button in the top-right corner.

What is ECG?

ECG (or EKG), is a heart performance test that charts the electrical activity of your heart and records it on a moving paper or shows it as a moving line on a screen. It is used most often to analyze the heart behavior and detect cardiac problems such as arrhythmias, heart beat irregularities and other conditions that prevent the heart from functioning normally. But how do you read an electrocardiogram? Here are examples of an ECG trace.

What can you tell from ECG?

ECG trace shows if your heart is working well or not. Normally, an ECG trace is analyzed for problems and checked for the most common heart conditions including arrhythmias, coronary heart disease, suspected or past heart attacks and strokes.

Things you should know

• Aidlab cannot detect heart attacks. If you ever experience chest pain, pressure, tightness, or what you think is a heart attack, call emergency services immediately.
• Do not change your medication without talking to your doctor.
